LOST HERSELF
Jenny grew up in the forest, with a deep connection to nature. With one foot in an indigenous family & the other in the system, she soon lost herself to the latter. With rules & social expectations, she came to follow a script written by someone else. Jenny kept all the magic inside & made herself small to fit into the box of the outside. After many years of numbing her inner calling & wisdom, with top grades, work, alcohol, parties, anorexia & bulimia & all kinds of self-destructive repeated patterns, she crashed on the floor in NYC. At the same time, the love of her life transitioned. To shake her up even more, she got run over by a tank truck.
TIME FOR A CHANGE
NEW BEGINNING
It was time for a new start, to re-learn to love herself & to come back home to her destined path. To scatter all fears & old beliefs that kept her from blossoming from the seed she always was. Jenny went back to the forest to remember her connection to the plants, to heal & learn. In stillness, she remembered & understood the much greater purpose of her path. JENNYONAYA is her embodying & expressing all of her, the past, present & future, in full expression of whom she came to be.
JENNY AND ONAYA
ONE WITH NATURE
Since a kid, Jenny drew on paper, clothes, or walls, anywhere she could. It was, & has always been her way of expressing what was moving inside, her strong emotions & constant questioning of society. At a young age she heard an inner voice that came with messages & the ever-present wisdom of nature. Onaya. In forms of a being or many beings interwoven together with nature. Many of her artworks came to depict the duality of human destruction & nature. A painting she did at 10 years old has news cut-outs & war planes crashing into nature, questioning why we create a world of fear. Another artwork depicts an out-of-proportion high heel & cigarettes on top of the mountain she grew up next to. The wisdom of Onaya has always been present in her work, as eyes, beings, or in subtle messages that point to the magic within our nature.
Today Jenny is merging stories of her life on the streets & the matrix, hand in hand with Onaya, the wisdom of nature. JENNYONAYA now shares art, music & her raw & honest story of her life with the public, and continues to walk the path of the artist & woman she always was, but for too long was hiding from the world. She claims no title nor is entitled to anything, simply shares her honest story just as it is unfolding.

Her dream has always been to sing, to dance, create & to connect with nature & all beings. For us to unite. That is now why she is sharing her art with the world, to fund & fully go for her dream. Her greatest mission here in life is to mirror creativity & authenticity in others.
Jennyonaya's next goal is to produce & release the 11 songs she has written to share her story with the world. The songs are chapters of her life & each telling an important lesson of how to turn pain into power & learn to love self again. All songs touch on subjects many of us can relate to, as well as being songs easy to sing along with. Her wish is to get support with funds, resources, & people who can help her bring all art out to the world in the best quality. Every piece of expression is made for each individual to unite with self & nature, so with the whole of us as one. The songs encourage us to create love, rather than repeat patterns of fear. To fully be & thrive as the creative beings we are, in a world that is abundant & magic, when we choose to see it. And be it.
